BEDFORD — The NH Medical Examiner’s Office has confirmed the deaths of a Bedford couple, David P. Moore Jr., 78, and Janice G. Moore, 79, as accidental, due to carbon monoxide poisoning at their Pulpit Road home.
The source of the carbon monoxide release is being investigated by the NH State Fire Marshal’s Office and the Bedford Police Department.
It was determined that carbon monoxide alarms were present in the residence but were not operational at the time of the incident.

Carbon monoxide, an invisible and potentially lethal gas, can cause symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, and nausea.
Officials urge the public to immediately seek fresh air and contact emergency services by calling 9-1-1 if they experience any signs of poisoning or if their carbon monoxide alarm sounds.
