Jeffersonville woman arrested for DUI after crash in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE — Vermont State Police arrested a Jeffersonville woman on suspicion of driving under the influence after her vehicle was found in a ditch on VT Route 15 at the Junction Hill Road intersection on the night of Oct. 14.

Cheri Cushing, 54, was taken into custody around 8:52 p.m. following a response from Cambridge Fire/Rescue and Troopers from the Williston Barracks to the scene of the accident.

Authorities noted signs of impairment when they interacted with Cushing.

After her arrest for DUI, Cushing was processed at the Williston Barracks.

She was released with a citation to appear at the Lamoille County Superior Court on Oct. 30 at 12:30 p.m. to face the DUI charge.
