GROTON — A one-vehicle crash early Monday morning on Fishtown Road resulted in serious injuries and trapped four occupants, prompting a multi-agency emergency response.
The Groton Police Department received an iPhone Crash Detection call at approximately 1:21 a.m., followed by 911 calls reporting the accident near Little Gull Lane.
Officers who arrived on the scene found a 2012 Toyota 4runner that had veered off the road into the woods.
