Bradford man charged with DUI, drug possession

BRADFORD — A Fairlee man was arrested Sunday afternoon for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs, along with multiple other charges.

At about 4:06 p.m., Vermont State Police received a report of a person passed out behind the wheel on Lower Plain in Bradford.

Upon arrival, troopers found Cody Hardy, 32, in control of the vehicle.

Investigation revealed that Hardy was impaired by drugs, breaching his conditions of release.

Additionally, he was found to be in possession of heroin/fentanyl and crack cocaine.

Hardy was taken to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Following the processing, he received a citation to appear in Orange County Criminal Court to face charges of DUI drug, violation of release conditions, and possession of controlled substances.
