Woman arrested for DUI following Jericho crash

JERICHO — A single-vehicle crash on Governor Peck RD led to the arrest of 22-year-old Mikayla Maeder of Underhill for driving under the influence, according to Vermont State Police.

The incident occurred early on Oct. 11 at approximately 3:58 a.m. when police responded to a report of a crash.

Maeder’s 2014 Subaru Forrester was found totaled on the scene under clear weather and dry road conditions.

Police observed several indicators of impairment during their interaction with Maeder.

Following the on-site investigation, she was taken into custody and transported to the Williston State Police barracks for processing.

Upon completion of processing, Maeder received a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court – Criminal Division.

There were no reported injuries as a result of the crash.
