Norwalk marks 1 month since Earl Sebastian’s disappearance

NORWALK — The Norwalk Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance one month after the disappearance of 72-year-old Earl Sebastian, who was last seen on Oct. 10 near the South Norwalk Train Station and Veterans Park.

Sebastian, described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds with a beard, left his Norwalk residence on the morning of Oct. 10.

Surveillance footage captured him at the South Norwalk Train Station at 8:30 a.m., and he was later seen entering Veterans Park at 9:27 a.m. He was wearing the clothes pictured in photos provided by the police.

Despite extensive searches and investigations, authorities have not uncovered any leads regarding Sebastian’s whereabouts.

The Norwalk Police Department emphasizes that Sebastian does not suffer from any known medical issues that could explain his sudden disappearance.

Detective Taylor and Sergeant Lee Young are leading the investigation.

They urge anyone with information related to the case to come forward.
