ANSONIA — Following a thorough investigation into an overdose death last October, Ansonia Police Department arrested 50-year-old Michael Dupre on charges related to narcotics sales.
Detective Jon Troesser linked Dupre to the sale of narcotics to a 24-year-old female victim who fatally overdosed in October 2023.
Dupre, an Ansonia resident, faces charges of Misrepresentation of a Controlled Substance and Sale of Narcotics.
The accused is currently being held on a $150,000 bond.
Dupre was presented for arraignment at Derby Superior Court on Oct. 10.
