Danville man reports theft of construction equipment worth over $8,000

DANVILLE — The Vermont State Police are investigating a grand larceny incident after being alerted on Oct. 9 at 4:46 p.m. to the theft of construction equipment from a property on Cormier Road.

According to the police report, Justin Morgan, 44, of Danville, reported several items missing, including an electric concrete trowel, three buckets, and 125 wall brackets.

The stolen goods are valued at approximately $8,750.

Morgan indicated that the theft occurred sometime between Sept. 13 and Sept. 30.

Authorities have released photos of the stolen items and are seeking assistance from the public.

Anyone with information about the theft or who can identify the person in the photos is urged to contact the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.

The Vermont State Police hope that community members will come forward with any details that might lead to the recovery of the stolen property and the identification of the suspect.
