Vermont State Police seek public’s help in locating missing Strafford teen

STRAFFORD — Vermont State Police from the Royalton Barracks are seeking assistance from the public to locate 16-year-old Gia Liddiard, who ran away from her Strafford home on the night of Oct. 8.

Authorities were alerted to Liddiard’s disappearance at around 10:30 p.m. that evening.

Subsequent investigation revealed that her last known location was in Hannover, NH, based on multiple Life 360 application pings and messages sent to her guardians.

Troopers have since been working to trace Liddiard’s movements and are urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward.

Liddiard’s photo has been circulated to aid in her identification.

The Vermont State Police have provided a contact number for tips at the Royalton Barracks, (802)-234-9933, and are asking for the community’s help in ensuring Liddiard’s safe return.
