Manchester man faces DUI, drug charges after Arlington disturbance

ARLINGTON — Vermont State Police arrested a Manchester man on multiple charges including a third DUI offense and drug possession following a disturbance at a Route 7A residence on Oct. 8.

James D. Pecor, 37, was taken into custody after police were called to the location at 3:58 p.m. for a disturbance complaint.

Upon arrival, officers found that Pecor had driven to the residence and was involved in a confrontation with another individual.

During the investigation, Pecor exhibited signs of impairment and was arrested for his third DUI charge and Criminal DLS, or driving with a license suspended for previous DUI offenses.

A subsequent search revealed that Pecor was in possession of fentanyl and a depressant.

Pecor was processed at the Shaftsbury State Police Barracks and received a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Bennington Criminal Division on Dec. 2 at 8:15 a.m.

Following processing, he was transferred to the custody of the Vermont Department of Corrections/Probation and Parole.
