Waltham man arrested for burglary

WALTHAM — A Waltham man was arrested on charges of burglary after Vermont State Police responded to a break-in at an occupied residence on Oct. 7 at 4:52 p.m.

Jacob Burmania, 30, was located near the scene by troopers from the New Haven Barracks shortly after the incident was reported.

According to the investigation, Burmania illegally entered the home with the intention of stealing tools.

Burmania was taken into custody and brought to the New Haven State Police Barracks.

He was issued a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Oct. 8 at 12:30 p.m. Following his arrest, Burmania was held on a $1,000 bond and transferred to Marble Valley Correctional Center.

Multiple victims were reported in the burglary incident.
