Man cited for unlawful trespass, violation of stalking order in Woodbury

WOODBURY — A transient man was taken into custody and cited for unlawful trespass and violating a stalking order on Sept. 26, according to Vermont State Police.

At around 12:24 p.m., authorities were alerted that Darren Devine, 33, had trespassed on two properties and violated a stalking order on West Woodbury Road.

The victims of the incident include Grace Hurley, 40, Jack Travelstead, 70, and Bryn Paul, 35, all residents of Woodbury.

Following the incident, Devine was apprehended by Capitol Police on an unrelated arrest warrant.

He has been issued a citation to appear in Washington County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Nov. 21 at 12:30 p.m. to face the charges.
