Lincoln Woods barracks arrests three on separate charges

PAWTUCKET — Rhode Island State Troopers apprehended three individuals on various charges, including a felony domestic no-contact order violation, following separate incidents over the weekend.

At 8:32 a.m., Troopers took into custody Harold Smith, 52, of Central Falls, for a third-offense violation of a domestic no-contact order, which is classified as a felony.

Smith was arrested after a barracks investigation and his subsequent appearance at Superior Court.

Following processing at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, Smith was taken to the Sixth Division District Court for arraignment.

Late in the evening, at 11:14 p.m., Arthur Macrae, 37, of Pawtucket, was arrested on a bench warrant for failing to appear at a pre-trial conference for a shoplifting charge originally filed by the East Providence Police Department.

Macrae’s arrest came after he was pulled over on Reservoir Avenue in Pawtucket.

He was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and subsequently transferred to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.

In the early hours, at 1:30 a.m., Marcus Espinal, 27, from Kissimmee, Florida, was arrested for domestic simple assault based on an affidavit and arrest warrant from the Providence Police Department.

Espinal was stopped on Bucklin Street in Providence and, after processing at the barracks, was handed over to the Providence Police Department.
