HOLDEN — In the early morning hours today, two vehicles were reported stolen from separate residences in Holden, with police emphasizing the importance of securing personal property.

Authorities noted that both vehicles were left unlocked with keys or fobs inside, making them easy targets for theft.

The Holden Police Department is now asking residents, particularly those living in the Fox Hill, Sycamore Drive, Fisher Road, or Salisbury Street areas, to review footage from their surveillance cameras between midnight and 4 a.m.

The department is urging the community to take preventative measures by locking their vehicles and ensuring that no keys, fobs, or valuables are left inside.

Anyone who has video evidence or information that could aid in the investigation is encouraged to contact the Holden Police Detective Bureau at 508-210-5613.

The police have expressed gratitude in advance for any assistance provided by the public.

As the investigation continues, they remind residents to remain vigilant about their vehicle security to reduce the risk of similar incidents.
