St. Johnsbury man charged with trespassing, vandalism at local deli

ST. JOHNSBURY — A local man faces charges of unlawful trespass and mischief after an incident at a Horizon’s Deli, authorities said.

According to the St. Johnsbury Police Department, the deli located at 652 Railroad Street reported that Adam Belliveau, 30, had been trespassed by staff around 5 p.m. on Oct. 4.

Belliveau allegedly threatened to return and damage the property.

Later that evening, at approximately 8:46 p.m., the store reported that Belliveau had shattered the glass in their front door.

Officers responded to the scene and found Belliveau walking away from the deli.

Belliveau was subsequently arrested and charged with unlawful mischief and unlawful trespass.

He is scheduled to appear in Caledonia court on Nov. 18 at 8:30 a.m. A mug shot has been released, but no bail has been set, and Belliveau was not lodged.
