Lyndon store hit by retail theft, police seek information

LYNDON — Vermont State Police in St. Johnsbury are investigating a retail theft that occurred at The White Market on Memorial Drive.

Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 10:11 a.m. on Sept. 28, when an unknown individual reportedly stole from the store.

The White Market, a local business in Lyndon, has been listed as the victim of the theft.

Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in the crime.

Individuals with any information regarding the theft or the suspect’s identity are encouraged to contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks at 802-748-3111.

In an effort to facilitate anonymous tips, the Vermont State Police also provide a text line and an online form.

The police are urging anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward to help in the investigation.
