READING — The Reading Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two persons of interest linked to a theft at the Reading Market Basket.
On Thursday, Oct. 3, a local resident reported that her wallet was stolen from her purse, which was in her carriage while shopping at the market.
According to the victim, a female suspect engaged her in conversation, creating a distraction that allowed a male accomplice to take the wallet.
Authorities have released images of the individuals they believe are connected to the incident.
