JEFFERSONVILLE — A traffic stop on VT RT 15 and Church Street led to the arrest of James Ditullio, 47, of Fletcher, for his fourth DUI and operating a vehicle with a criminally suspended driver’s license, authorities said Thursday.

Ditullio was pulled over at 10 p.m. Wednesday for a defective equipment violation.

During the stop, officers noted signs of alcohol impairment.

A subsequent check revealed that Ditullio’s license had been suspended for non-compliance with interlock device requirements.

After a roadside investigation, Ditullio was taken into custody without incident and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.

He was later released to a sober individual following the completion of processing procedures.
