Boston police seek public help to ID Roxbury break-in suspect

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives from District B-2 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual involved in a breaking and entering incident in Roxbury.

The event occurred around 12:14 a.m. on Friday at 13 Shetland Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’10” to 6’0″ tall with a stocky build.

He has a beard and was last seen wearing a black hat, a black North Face jacket, blue jeans, and white and black sneakers.

According to police reports, the suspect is believed to have originated from the Massachusetts Avenue area and returned there after allegedly stealing a bicycle from the building.

Surveillance footage also captured the suspect revisiting the establishment and taking additional items.

The Boston Police Department is thoroughly examining the details and circumstances of the incidents.
