Boston police seek help identifying suspect in Roxbury attempted break-in

BOSTON — Boston Police Department detectives are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to an attempted breaking and entering incident in Roxbury.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:07 p.m. on Saturday in the vicinity of 14 Holborn Street.

According to authorities, the suspect fled the scene on foot and brandished a knife before escaping.

The BPD is thoroughly investigating the events of the attempted break-in.

They encourage anyone with information to contact the District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.

To provide information anonymously, individuals can call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1 (800) 494-TIPS or text the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
