Two Williamstown residents arrested for Dollar General burglary

WILLIAMSTOWN — Two local residents were taken into custody on Sept. 23 after a burglary at the Dollar General store on Business Center Road.

Dana Patten, 48, and Tiana Kenney, 47, both of Williamstown, are facing charges of burglary, grand larceny, retail theft, unlawful mischief, and possession of depressants following an investigation by state police.

Troopers from the Berlin Barracks responded to the burglary report at the Dollar General and, after a thorough investigation, executed a search warrant at the residence of Patten and Kenney.

The Tactical Services Unit assisted with the operation.

Both Patten and Kenney were released with a citation and are scheduled to appear in Orange County Superior Court — Criminal Division on Nov. 6 at 8:30 a.m.
