Bradford woman arrested for criminal threatening, assault

BRADFORD — Vermont State Police arrested 40-year-old Erin Thurston for criminal threatening and assault after she reportedly threatened a man with a knife on South Pleasant Street.

Authorities received a call about the incident at approximately 6:52 p.m. on Oct. 1.

Upon arriving at the scene, troopers spoke with 43-year-old Prince David Fox II, who claimed Thurston had threatened him, causing fear of serious injury.

During the investigation, police discovered Thurston had an outstanding arrest warrant for failing to appear in court on charges of disorderly conduct and assaulting a protected professional.

She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Thurston was held at the barracks on the warrant and is scheduled to appear in the Orange County Superior Court to face the new charges.
