VERSHIRE — Troopers from the St. Johnsbury barracks responded to a collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Vermont Route 113 and Eagle Hollow Road on Sept. 26 at approximately 6:09 p.m.

According to the investigation, Barbara Soros, 78, of Corinth, was driving her 2010 Honda Fit when she attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Route 113.

Benton Prior, 28, of West Fairlee, was operating a 2014 Ford F350 and collided with Soros’s vehicle after she entered the roadway.

Despite the cloudy weather and wet road conditions, both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the incident.

There were no injuries reported, but both vehicles sustained substantial damage—Soros’s Honda Fit on the passenger side and Prior’s Ford F350 at the front end.

Authorities have not issued any citations at this time and the crash remains under investigation.
