BRUNSWICK — A fatal motor vehicle crash claimed the life of a Brunswick man late Saturday night when his car rolled over at the intersection of Pleasant Street and Range Road.
Brunswick Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to the scene at approximately 10:17 p.m. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle on its side with significant damage.
The initial investigation indicated that the car, driven by 53-year-old Marco Navarro, had been traveling on Range Road toward Pleasant Street before it veered through the yard of a nearby residence and overturned on Pleasant Street.
Navarro, who was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle.
Despite efforts by the Brunswick Fire Department to administer life-saving measures, Navarro succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Following the incident, Pleasant Street was partially closed for several hours as officials worked to reconstruct the crash.
