1 min read

HOOKSETT — Firefighters from Hooksett and Manchester extinguished a vehicle fire inside a residential garage on Jacob Avenue, with reports of a possible burn victim, authorities said.

Hooksett Fire Department units were first on the scene and encountered flames emanating from the garage.

Firefighters deployed a hose line and, with aid from the Manchester Fire Department, quickly suppressed the blaze.

The fire had caused smoke to fill the attached garage and spread into the residence.

Crews used fans to ventilate the smoke from the home.

A man at the scene sustained what appeared to be non-life-threatening burns to his arm and received on-site medical attention from AMR ambulance medics.

The Hooksett Fire Department will conduct an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.

Manchester fire crews were released from the scene approximately 20 minutes after their arrival.
