Craftsbury man arrested for burglary, unlawful trespass

CRAFTSBURY — A local man was arrested Saturday on charges of burglary and unlawful trespass after Vermont State Police responded to a report of an intruder in a Wylie Hill Road residence.

According to police, Jeremiah Wild, 28, of Craftsbury, was taken into custody after troopers arrived at the scene and found him inside a home that was not his own.

The incident occurred during the morning hours of Sept. 28.

Further investigation revealed that Wild had also committed two counts of unlawful trespass the previous day, Sept. 27.

After processing at the Derby Barracks, Wild was lodged at the Northern State Correctional Facility.

The case remains under investigation by the Vermont State Police.
