RICHFORD — A local man has been arrested on multiple counts involving inappropriate conduct with minors, authorities said.
James Cross, 33, of Richford, faces allegations stemming from an incident reported on Sept. 23.
According to the Northwest Unit for Special Investigations, Cross is accused of two counts of luring a child and two counts of lewd or lascivious conduct with a child.
The report involved two female juvenile victims, whose names have not been released in adherence to Vermont State Police policy on domestic assault and sexual violence cases.
Cross was taken into custody on Sept. 27 and is being held at the Northwest State Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.
His arraignment is set for the Vermont Superior Court – Franklin Criminal Division on Sept. 30 at 1 p.m.
