Boston police seek help to identify suspect in Roxbury break-ins

BOSTON — Detectives assigned to the Boston Police Department’s District B-2 are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying an individual connected to two breaking and entering incidents in Roxbury.

The first incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Sept. 24, in the vicinity of 10 Taber Street.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, sporting a hooded sweatshirt with the word “Champion” in red, white, and blue, black shorts, black sneakers, and was seen pushing a shopping cart.

The individual reportedly forced entry through the front door and is alleged to have stolen over $450 worth of packages from the mailroom.

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for a similar crime on Sept. 21, around 11:30 p.m., near 16 Taber Street, where over $1,000 worth of packages were taken from the building’s mailroom.

The Boston Police Department is thoroughly examining the details of these events.
