JOHNSTON — Troopers arrested Kaberly E. Delarosa, 36, of Providence, late Wednesday night on charges of driving under the influence and refusing to submit to a chemical test following a multi-car accident on Route 295.

Rhode Island State Police responded to the scene of the collision at 11:34 p.m., where they determined Delarosa to be under the influence of intoxicating liquor.

This marks her first offense for both the DUI with an unknown blood alcohol content (BAC) and the refusal to take a chemical test.

Delarosa was transported to Rhode Island Hospital by Johnston Rescue and later released with a misdemeanor charge.

She has been scheduled for a future appearance in Third District Court.
