PROVIDENCE — A Providence man was apprehended by the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force on Sept. 25, on charges of child molestation.
Angel L. Reyes, 42, of 476 Smith Street – Apartment 3, was arrested on an Affidavit and Arrest Warrant issued by the Providence Police Department for two counts of child molestation.
Reyes was taken into custody without incident and subsequently handed over to the Providence Police Department members who were present at the scene.
In a separate but simultaneous operation on the same day, members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, arrested Jessica A. Abreu, 33, of 207 Fountain Street – Apartment 1, Fall River, Massachusetts.
Abreu faced a Federal Arrest Warrant for Violation of Bail related to an original charge of International Kidnapping.
She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rhode Island Federal Courthouse by members of the United States Marshals Service.
