WESTBROOK — A suspect has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident that occurred this past weekend on East Valentine Street, Westbrook Police Department officials announced on Monday.
After an intensive investigation following the shooting, police identified 33-year-old Jason Havanki as the suspect.
Havanki, a Westbrook resident, was located and taken into custody without incident yesterday.
In a subsequent search of Havanki’s residence, authorities executed a search warrant and seized the firearm believed to be used in the incident.
Havanki is now facing charges of Aggravated Reckless Conduct and Violating Conditions of Release.
Following his arrest, he was transported to the Cumberland County Jail.
He is being held without bail and is scheduled for arraignment in court today.
