Rhode Island State Police make multiple arrests on various charges

NORTH KINGSTOWN — Rhode Island State Police apprehended three individuals on Tuesday in separate incidents involving fraud, probation violation, and drug possession.

At 10:23 a.m., troopers took into custody 25-year-old Nikita M. Gardiner of North Kingstown for fraudulent use of credit cards, accessing a computer for fraudulent purposes, and larceny.

The arrest at her residence on 44 Yorktown Road followed an investigation by the Hope Valley Barracks.

Gardiner was processed at the Wickford Barracks and appeared in Fourth Division District Court.

Later that day, at 12:45 p.m., Darrell L. Price, 50, from West Kingston, was arrested at Green Hill Park in South Kingstown on a full bench warrant for a hold without bail violation of probation, stemming from an original charge of breaking and entering.

The warrant was issued by Washington County Superior Court on the same day.

Price was also taken to Fourth Division District Court.

In the early hours of Tuesday, at 12:00 a.m., Thomas A. Pellegrino, 48, of Providence, was arrested following a vehicle stop on Route 95 in West Greenwich.

Pellegrino faced an arrest warrant for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance issued by the South Kingstown Police Department.

After being processed at the Hope Valley Barracks, he was turned over to South Kingstown authorities.
