PROVIDENCE — A Providence man was arrested on several charges, including felony assault and reckless driving, after a car crash on Route 95 North, Rhode Island State Police reported.
At 5:36 p.m., Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks took Elijah Harrell, 27, of Providence, into custody.
He was wanted on a Third Division District Court Bench Warrant for an array of offenses originating from the North Kingstown Police Department, which included felony assault, domestic simple assault, violation of a no-contact order, disorderly conduct, obstruction, resisting arrest, and reckless driving.
The arrest occurred as a result of an investigation into a motor vehicle accident in Pawtucket.
After processing at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, Harrell was handed over to the North Kingstown Police.
