Massachusetts man arrested for theft at Nashua Guitar Center

NASHUA — A Lawrence, Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with a theft at a local Guitar Center, the Nashua Police Department reported on September 24.

Juan Lopez-Benito, 41, faces a felony charge for Theft by Unauthorized Taking, with the stolen goods valued between $1,000 and $1,500.

The arrest follows an incident that occurred on August 9, when Lopez-Benito allegedly stole several items from the music retail store located on Daniel Webster Highway.

Patrol officers initially responded to the theft report on August 10.

The Criminal Investigation Division of the Nashua Police Department took over the case, leading to the application and granting of an arrest warrant for Lopez-Benito.

After his arrest, Lopez-Benito was released on Personal Recognizance bail.

He is scheduled to appear in the 9th Circuit – District Division – Nashua Court on October 29 at 1 p.m.
