Granville overpass defaced with graffiti, police seek information

GRANVILLE — On Sept. 22, at around 3:06 p.m., Vermont State Police troopers responded to a report of vandalism on VT Route 12A, where the roadway’s overpass spans East Granville Brooke.

A local resident alerted authorities after discovering graffiti, which included explicit language, on the overpass walls.

The resident had seen the area in its normal state as recently as Sept. 14.

The Town of Granville is listed as the victim of the unlawful mischief, with the perpetrator’s identity still unknown.

State Police are requesting the public’s assistance in their investigation.
