FAIR HAVEN — A Poultney woman was arrested on DUI charges after a motor vehicle crash on Main Street, Fair Haven Police said.
Oshen-Keli Beayon, 28, was taken into custody early on Sept. 21 following an investigation into an incident where her vehicle left the roadway and struck a curb.
The accident occurred at 2:49 a.m., and upon making contact, officers detected signs of alcohol impairment.
During the field sobriety exercises, Beayon failed to demonstrate the necessary sobriety to operate a vehicle.
Further tests revealed a blood alcohol concentration (BAC) of .112, exceeding Vermont’s legal driving limit of .08.
Senior Patrol Officer Cheri McDermott was the investigating officer on the scene.
After her arrest, Beayon was released with a citation to appear in Rutland District Court at a later date to face the DUI charge.
