STRATFORD — Stratford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in the theft of a wallet from an elderly woman at a local Walgreens on Sept. 21.
The incident, which was captured on the store’s surveillance cameras, shows the suspect, a male of undisclosed age, allegedly taking the wallet from the victim while she was shopping.
The police have released a still image of the man, hoping that someone in the community will recognize him.
Officer Carollo is handling the investigation and urges anyone with information about the identity of the suspect to come forward.
