BENSON — Vermont State Police arrested a Benson man early Monday morning on charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault.
Troopers from the Rutland Barracks responded to a report of a family fight at a residence on Stage Road at approximately 12:35 a.m. Upon arrival, they determined that 46-year-old Robert Curavoo had threatened a family or household member with a deadly weapon.
Curavoo was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Rutland Barracks for processing.
A judicial officer set his bail at $1,000.
Curavoo is scheduled to appear at Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division on Sept. 23 at 12:30 p.m. for further proceedings.
The Vermont State Police have not released the name of the victim in accordance with their policy on domestic and sexual assault cases.
