MANCHESTER — A 19-year-old city man was arrested Sept. 18 in connection with the sexual assault of a child, according to Manchester Police.
The department stated that the allegations were brought to their attention on May 17, immediately prompting an investigation by the Manchester Police Juvenile Division.
Detectives identified Brayan Bacilio Chacon Rivera as the suspect, alleging that he sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13 on multiple occasions.
Further investigation suggests there may be at least one more child victim.
Chacon Rivera faces two counts of Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault and has been released on personal recognizance bail.
