1 min read

GRANVILLE — Vermont State Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of a Maine man known only as “Horan,” who has not been seen at his Granville campsite for approximately four days.

Authorities were alerted around 2 p.m. on Sept. 19 when a fellow camper expressed concern for Horan, believed to be in his early thirties, with short curly hair, about 5 feet 7 inches tall, last seen wearing jeans and a light-colored shirt.

Troopers from the Royalton Barracks responded to the campsite located off VT 100 near Leland Jones Road but reported nothing suspicious.

The missing man’s vehicle, a red ’90s style van with oxidized paint and a Maine license plate, was also missing from the site.

Horan was reportedly planning a two-week stay at the campsite.

While the situation is not currently being treated as suspicious, Vermont State Police are urging anyone with information about Horan or the red van to contact the Royalton Barracks.
