Providence man arrested for fraudulent credit card use following traffic stop

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Troopers arrested a Providence man late Thursday night on charges of fraudulent use of credit cards following a routine traffic stop.

Jeron Jackson, 38, of 4 Osborn Street, was taken into custody at 11:18 p.m. after a motor vehicle stop on Cambridge Street.

The arrest warrant, issued by the Providence Police Department, was executed by troopers from the Scituate Barracks.

Jackson was transported to State Police Headquarters, where he was processed.

He was later handed over to the Providence Police Department to face the charges detailed in the affidavit.
