East Hampton police report multiple arrests, traffic violations

EAST HAMPTON — In a recent press release, the East Hampton Police Department outlined several incidents resulting in arrests and tickets for various offenses, including driving under the influence, criminal trespass, and violation of protective orders.

On Aug. 27, Sidekie Franklin, 41, of Windsor, was ticketed for improper use of a marker plate and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.

Loralie Lemieux, 55, of East Hampton, was arrested on Sept. 4 for second-degree criminal trespass, interfering with a police officer, and second-degree breach of peace.

Lemieux was released on a $2,500 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear at Middletown Superior Court on Tuesday at 9 a.m.

Brian Robinson, 45, of Colchester, was arrested for driving under the influence on Sept. 6.

Robinson was released on a $500 non-surety bond with a court appearance set for Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Middletown Superior Court.

Sept. 9 saw the arrest of Torie Greenwald, 38, of East Hampton, for violation of a protective order.

Greenwald was released on a $5,000 non-surety bond and appeared at the Middlesex Superior Court the following day.

On the same day, Susan Hopkins, 66, of East Hampton, was issued a ticket for failing to renew registration.

Greenwald faced further legal trouble on Sept. 12, with an arrest for driving under the influence and operating an unregistered motor vehicle.

She was released on a $500 non-surety bond and is due to appear at the Middletown Superior Court on Sept. 25.

Amy Howard, 39, of Middle Haddam, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Sept. 12, with a court date set for the next day.

Between Sept. 9 and 15, East Hampton officers responded to 15 medical calls, investigated six motor vehicle accidents, answered nine alarms, and made 15 traffic stops.
