ST. JOHNSBURY — A domestic assault at the Fairbanks Inn led to the arrest of Jeremiah Deslandes, 31, of St. Johnsbury, according to a press release from the St. Johnsbury Police Department.
The incident occurred on Monday at 7:32 p.m., when Cpl. Steven Hartwell and Officer M. Johnson responded to a call at 401 Western Ave.
Deslandes was located and taken into custody by officers at approximately 11:11 p.m.
After being processed, Deslandes was released with conditions and a citation to appear in court.
He is scheduled for arraignment on the charges Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Caledonia Superior Court.
