Lebanon police quickly address online threat to high school

LEBANON — The Lebanon Police Department swiftly acted upon receiving a report of a threatening online post directed at Lebanon High School on Monday, officials said.

At approximately 4:22 p.m., authorities were alerted to the post, prompting an immediate investigation by local officers.

Within 40 minutes, the student responsible for the online threat was identified.

Following an interview with the student, the police determined that the threat was not credible.

Officials have assured that there is currently no danger to the public stemming from this incident.

The Lebanon Police Department, in collaboration with the School District, emphasized their commitment to taking all threats seriously and will persist in thoroughly investigating any such reports.
