BRISTOL — A Bristol man was arrested on multiple narcotics charges after local police, assisted by the DEA, acted on community complaints about drug sales at a residential address.
According to the Bristol Police Department, the Narcotics Enforcement Team (NET) launched an investigation after receiving reports in August and September that Thomas Faraci, 32, was allegedly selling drugs from his home at 47 Atkins Ave.
Investigators secured two arrest warrants for Faraci for the illegal sale of narcotics, as well as a search warrant for the property.
The search warrant was executed on the morning of Sept. 12 at 7 a.m. Alongside members of the DEA New Haven Office, the NET team arrested Faraci at the residence.
During the search, law enforcement officials found fentanyl, crack cocaine, a digital scale, ammunition, and a facsimile handgun.
Faraci faces charges including possession of narcotics with intent to sell, illegal sale of narcotics, and risk of injury to a child.
He was held on a $275,000 surety bond.
The Bristol Police Department expressed gratitude to the DEA New Haven Office and the community for their assistance in the investigation, emphasizing the department’s commitment to combating illegal drug use and trafficking.
They encouraged citizens to continue providing information about illegal drug sales.
The department also reminded the public about the anonymous tip line and email system for reporting criminal activity.
