Whitingham woman faces multiple charges in Windham, Bennington counties

WHITINGHAM — A series of larceny crimes in Whitingham and Wardsboro has led to the arrest of a local woman, authorities said.

Sarah R. Galaske, 45, of Whitingham, was charged with a spree of offenses including nine counts of credit card fraud, one count of burglary, four counts of petit larceny, possession of stolen property, and possession of fentanyl, according to the Vermont State Police – Westminster Barracks.

The investigation commenced after troopers received reports from nine victims.

Galaske was arrested on Sept. 12 and processed before being released on citation.

She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on Nov. 12.

The Vermont State Police urge anyone with further information regarding these incidents to come forward as the investigation continues.
