SHREWSBURY — A single-vehicle crash on Northam Road resulted in the arrest of a local man for driving under the influence and operating with a criminally suspended license, Vermont State Police reported.
At approximately 6:51 p.m. on Sept. 13, troopers responded to the incident involving a 2007 Honda Civic, which was found to be totaled.
The driver, identified as 23-year-old Andrew Kubisek of Mt Holly, was not injured in the crash.
During the investigation, police noted several signs of impairment in Kubisek’s behavior.
Further checks revealed that his driving privileges had been previously revoked.
Kubisek was taken into custody without incident.
Kubisek has been issued a citation to appear in Rutland Superior Court – Criminal Division to face charges related to the incident.
