BOSTON — Two 15-year-old males were arrested Thursday on multiple firearm charges following reports of a kidnapping and armed confrontation in Dorchester, police said.
Officers responded to 54 Armandine St. at 5:15 p.m. for a reported kidnapping.
They were told three males had abducted a juvenile male at gunpoint after an argument over a scooter.
About 30 minutes later, police received a report of an armed person near 180 Westview St. Officers were given descriptions of two juvenile males allegedly possessing firearms.
Police located and arrested both suspects after brief pursuits.
A search of the area uncovered two discarded firearms – a Smith & Wesson 9mm with a laser flashlight and 15 rounds, and a Polymer 80 with 16 rounds.
The two 15-year-olds face charges including unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, assault with a dangerous weapon, armed robbery, and kidnapping.
They are expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
The victim was reportedly driven to the Franklin Field area in an unknown vehicle during the incident.
No information was provided on the victim’s condition or the third suspect mentioned in initial reports.
