EAST GREENWICH — In a late-night traffic stop on Route 95, Rhode Island State Troopers arrested Amanda L.
Harvey for an outstanding warrant related to embezzlement charges.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 11, Harvey, 35, of North Providence, was detained following a vehicle stop by authorities.
She had been sought on a Providence Superior Court Bench Warrant for failing to appear for a restitution review.
The original charges of Embezzlement and Fraudulent Conversion were filed by the Providence Police Department.
After the arrest, Harvey was taken to the State Police – Hope Valley Barracks for processing.
She was subsequently transferred to the Adult Correctional Institution – Women’s Intake Center.
