BRATTLEBORO — Vermont State Police arrested a Whitingham man on charges of cocaine possession following an investigation into a reported vehicle break-in early Wednesday morning.
Authorities said they received a call at approximately 7:55 a.m. about a vehicle break-in on Poverty Row, in the Town of Whitingham, Windham County.
A wallet and money were reported stolen from the vehicle.
John Galaske, 46, was identified as one of the persons of interest during the investigation.
After consenting to a search of his person and belongings, Galaske was found in possession of cocaine.
Galaske was issued a criminal citation to appear before the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on Oct. 1 at 8:30 a.m. to face charges related to the possession of cocaine.
